As we gear up for 2010, our team was thankful for a few days rest between Christmas and New Year's Day. The Myers family enjoyed lots of time together and with friends (and your editor enjoyed lots of reading time as well as an outdoor project--finishing a stone patio started this summer).

I'm deeply grateful to donors who helped with year-end contributions. We are very, very close to meeting the $20,000 match challenge and the donor has graciously agreed to count donations that come in during the month of January. God-willing this will give us the funds needed for nearly six months of operation in 2010. If you'd still like to help you, read more here.

One of my all-time favorite events is the Summit Ministries Adult Conference. I invite you to join me, along with my friends David Noebel, John Stonestreet, Del Tackett, Doug Groothuis and others at the gorgeous Glen Eyrie Castle in Colorado Springs for:

• Personal time with some of America's top worldview and apologetics authorities
• A week of delightful Old-English hospitality in the awe-inspiring Rocky Mountains
• Eye-opening lectures, lively discussions and a fantastic selection of worldview resources to browse
• Four continuing education units for teachers

The dates are Feb. 28 to March 5, and $370 covers the program and meals for six days, and room rates at Glen Eyrie are very reasonable.
